Rules under question!

I ran across this set of stipulations as posted on another forum re: a totally different major subject and with a few word changes to better fit this forum, thought it would be good to consider the chance to see how another forum has found benefit in following a very short set of rules, not trying to circumvent the voice of authority, Stan. I recall someone else whose name starts with L that got in a lot of trouble for doing just that.

Rule #1 No Spam!!! Period. None what so ever will be tolerated. No affiliate links etc.

If you disagree with someone a friendly debate and constructive criticism is encouraged but keep it clean and realize that we all have opinions but some of them are better kept to ourselves. If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say it. We are not here to prove each other wrong but to find out how we can help each other make the right decision when it comes time to enter service for God or the kingdom of heaven.

Rule #4 No link posting of any kind until you have proven to be a legitimate contributor to our community. In order to dissuade detracters and affiliates of product sites from posting links to this forum we have implemented a 130 post minimum.

Rule #5 All you experienced disciples out there, remember there was a time when you were new. Let's go out of our way to make the newbie's comfortable. They have a lot to learn and we all know it doesn't happen overnight.

Is the subject kosher? Does it belong on Townhall? Are there strong dissenters? And why?
