Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 29, 2010 Members Posted September 29, 2010 I'm not quite sure what to think about this interview!!! Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted September 29, 2010 Moderators Posted September 29, 2010 The fact that she happens to be Obama's aunt should not permit her to flout the system. She should be enrolled in Civics courses and then required to take the Citizenship examination. Becoming a legal U.S. citizen -- or at least qualifying for a green card -- should be required of her before she continues to receive our welfare benefits. I don't believe the President is required to support her financially, any more than I would be required to support an aunt of mine. bonnie Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Just recently in a interview Obama spoke about his christian faith. Part of that is he said "he is his brother's keeper".That may not mean his aunt to him but he has half brother's living in a hut. He has claimed a great fondness for this aunt. Maybe with his less than a ideal childhood Family" may not mean to him what it means to me Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
