Puiu Dobrica from Andreiasu, Vrancea county, says he wanted to cure her of chattering all day with her friends. He waited until his wife Aurelia went in to the sty to clean it one morning, and then locked the door from the outside. The woman spent a whole day and night in the pigsty until her son released her the next morning. Mr Dobrica, a barber, said: "I don't see where the problem is. I never neglected my wife. "I fed her two times by a hole in the roof. I just hope I won't see her spending time gossiping again." I honestly knew a lady, who could not stop talking for anything.... she was not to be trusted with any personal information... her whole family [amazingly, she did marry] found her an embarrasment to them... So, inconclusion, i can see where this man may have been at the end of his rope and needed to do something about this gossiping woman, and felt that it was an appropriate thing to do... And in our culture, it looks pretty harsh, but if you found a woman who could not keep quiet, recommending therapy my not be enough... Nicodema Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Neil, no tomatoes need come your way as long as you could find it in your sense to say "person" instead of woman -- for it is NOT merely females who have these problems or who have flaws sufficient enough to be an embarrassment to all around them.
