IMO I think Ephesians 4:32 sums it up best: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. The true church (the one made without [man's] hands) will always be kind and tenderhearted toward all that pass within it's doors. Those that comprise it understand the sacrifice made that they might be members and cannot be different than the One that reconciled them to Himself. The true church doesn't choose, we are chosen.
