Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.' (John 15:15) Are there going to be two classes of Christians in heaven? Those that served Him as a servant and those that came to Him as a friend? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Overaged Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 A true friend would also be a true servant. Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." And yes, I believe there will be legalists in Heaven even though he no longer calls them to be servants. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted October 16, 2010 Moderators Posted October 16, 2010 Have you read Graham Maxwell's book SERVANTS OR FRIENDS? John 15:15 is the basis for that book, and it makes a whole lot of sense to me. Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....

Haven't read the book. Does he state that there will be the two catagories of Christians in heaven ... both servants and friends? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Moderators John317 Posted November 30, 2010 Moderators Posted November 30, 2010 Graham Maxwell died yesterday, Nov 28, 2010. He was a true FRIEND of God. Was he in hospital? Was it sudden or did he have an illness? Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
