Kinesiology vs Applied Kinesiology

There has been some confusion about kinesiology in another thread. I was referring to "applied kinesiology."

Here is an explanation by Ed Noyes, MD, that will clarify:

Kinesiology is the science of muscle, ligament and joint relationships. A legitimate science taught in physical therapy. Applied kinesiology is a popular divination practice, actually rather stupid but it seems many are deceived by it. That may clear up the confusion.

I believe Woody was referring to the former. My apologies to Woody. It didn't occur to me that we were writing about two different things.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

I appreciate the clarification. My neice has recently graduated with her Master's in Kinesiology and another study. I didn't want to ask her dad what she really was doing.

Thanx again.

I believe Woody knew this too, but just wanted to stir the pot. Right Woody?? :)

Never heard of "applied Kinesiology". All I knew was that I studied Kinesiology and it was good scientific knowledge.

Thanks for the clarification Pam
