That would be over 11,000 dollars for each person.

This is the second year with a deficit of over a trillion dollars. And some want MORE of Obama?

We are mostly just paying interest. And when the interest rate goes up ... we will be in BIG trouble and unable to grow.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

We need a Republican Congress to fine tune President Obama.

Obama needs far more than fine tuning,he needs to be stopped.Thankfully more and more that do have true concerns where he is heading are seeing that.

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

It seems a little strange when someone has such high praise for Obama and wife ,she prays to keep the spirits clean around Obama, meaning a democrat win, Shane wants republicans(unclean spirits to win)to take over and clean up his mess.Yet I don't think there is a flattering word he has missed in describing them

What am I missing here

I am a big believer in split government. I think it is a dangerous thing when one party controls both the Presidency and Congress.

Now on a personal level, of course I like President Obama and the charming Michelle. That doesn't mean they are sinless. We still need to pray for them to be protected from the devil's evil angels that want them to go down the wrong path. I think Obama is still smoking too. We certainly need to lift him up in prayer and ask God to protect him from all the unclean angels.

A Republican Congress working with Bill Clinton balanced the budget. Maybe that will happen again. Great things can happen with split government. This might turn out so good that Obama gets re-elected. I think that would be a great outcome.

Big difference between Obama and Clinton,Clinton was a man with every changing principals.Whatever principal was required on any given day was fine with Clinton. He could bend quite far when it was benefical to Clinton

I don't think you will find that with Obama.

Now that President Obama has admited there are no "shovel ready jobs",I would like to know what he did with the stimulous money. He said this was going for shovel ready jobs before he decided there wasn't such a thing.

He also claims people saw him as a tax and spend democrat and that hurt his popularity. What did he do besides tax and spend?

Well Obama certainly is an honorable man. I would be honored if my mansion in heaven is next to his. I pray that God bless this man and keep all the unclean angels away from him.

He has shown himself to be a dishonorable man on many occasions.

Just out of curiousity did God whisper in your ear a list of who would be in heaven?

It is pretty persumptous to speak for God and say someone will or won't be in heaven.

He did better than that. He wrote it in His Word

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

So this says everyone that confesses with his mouth the Lord Jesus will be saved?

Quote:
I may not like some of his politics but I can't deny that he is an honorable man, a fine example for all male citizens. I know he smokes and drinks alcohol causally but many honorable men do. These are vices and we need to keep him in our prayers. We especially need to pray that the unclean angels keep their distance from him.

You have no personal knowledge of that whatsoever. Again you sound a lot like the flatterer.

There are several incidences since he became president that say different.I could care less about his smoking or drinking alcohol at times.

I am glad that he was never in a position to be a role model for my four sons.He certainly isn't for my grandsons.

Well,,, I think there is a "believe in thine heart" component too. Since we can't read hearts, we just have to take people at face value. If they say they are Christians, we believe them and give them the benefit of the any doubt there may be.

Frpm your flowery, effusive numerous phrases to describe what is in this man's heart that is a strange thing for you to say.

Accepting what someone says at face value is different than affirming the words as fact concerning a person you do not know.

A christian believes Christ is the Son of God and our personal saviour,NOT THAT CHRIST IS A GREAT HISTORICAL FIGURE.Nor do christians in the typical sense of the word believe in collective salvation, that our salvation is tied to that of others. That pretty well wipes out the need for Jesus the Son of God,our redeemer.

Someone has to actually hear you in order for you to flatter them. Unless Barry is reading this forum, I am not able to flatter him here.

Maybe he is as you seem to be on first name basis with him.Flattwery does not necessarirly have to be heard by him to have you attempt to affirm what is in President Obama's heart.

Not sure what this means but doesn't sound like someone that has accepted Christ as his saviour

Whatever he believes is his right or if he does not believe in God at all.But these comments do not come from someone that has a understanding of the word christian or Christ

FALSANI: Who's Jesus to you? (Obama laughs nervously)

OBAMA: Right. Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he's also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he's also a wonderful teacher. I think it's important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.

On Sin

FALSANI: What is sin?

OBAMA: Being out of alignment with my values.

FALSANI: What happens if you have sin in your life?

OBAMA: I think it's the same thing as the question about heaven. In the same way that if I'm true to myself and my faith that that is its own reward, when I'm not true to it, it's its own punishment.

On Hell

Obama: ?There's the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven't embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they're going to hell.

FALSANI: You don't believe that?

OBAMA: I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell.

I can't imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That's just not part of my religious makeup.

On Heaven

FALSANI: Do you believe in heaven?

OBAMA: Do I believe in the harps and clouds and wings?

FALSANI: A place spiritually you go to after you die?

OBAMA: What I believe in is that if I live my life as well as I can, that I will be rewarded. I don't presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.

Amazing.

What is truly amazing are those people that given the chance it seems, would prostrate themselves at his feet if he walked by.Then there are those that say such fawning words you know some of it is to appear TIC,that way they don't feel so foolish. But even those types of Obama supporters do mean more than a little of what they are saying.

While I don't understand it I have far more respect for those that are Obama supporters without the fawning and groveling at the mention of his name.

Next couple of years will be interesting

President Obama sounds like he is ripe to become an Adventist. We should keep him in prayer that he accepts the Three Angels' Message and that all the unclean angels will stay away from him.

Well, the truth is that the banks and financing industry is what has gotten us into this. The argument between the political parties is which party is most responsible for allowing the finance industry to do what it did. The answer is that both parties were guilty in taking campaign donations and, in some cases, fringe benefits from the industry. Neither party has clean hands.

President Obama wants to pretend like he inherited the mess when in fact, he helped cause it. There is blood on everyone's hands in Washington. Obama knew the mess he was getting into and he ran for President with a red cape claiming he would fix everything. He has no right to whine about inheriting the problem.

However, keeping it in perspective... the banks did this to us. Let's not lose sight of that.

It is true that the banks shoulder some of the blame, and it is also true that much blame lies at the door of Barney Frank (shudder) et al...
