What can I say?

What can I say to each of you, who are such uniquely special friends? How can I tell you how much each one of you mean to me because of our tie on this weary planet to a heavenly Shepherd? Oh! That is it! That we are tied by His love of each lamb, each sheep, and never ever are we excluded by being lost and confused at that moment, but on the contrary, just when we need love most His is most ours alone! Oh Friend! That does not mean that you or I when we are basking in the warmth of the fold are less loved at all, no we are safe and luxuriate in the rest there, but when out on the lonely height of pain and sorrow, when the thorns tear and the winds howl and we wonder how we got there and think is so unfair, what is fair is that He is there, hands being ripped as he reaches to shelter and brush away that tear. When we go dancing toward a destiny that we think is fine and it's nothing but an undefined cliff with a well defined end in sight, He risks all and takes all the pain to cushion the blow of the enemy about to knock us off that cliff and lunges between the interloper and the expected end, to turn our skipping then stumbling feet toward safety. He's ours and because He's ours we belong to each other tonight. Happy Sabbath dearly beloved!
