When you look at creation whether planting seeds or human birth they resemble the genesis creation of the earth. Life is created in darkness. As it grows, it witness the light which nurish it and help it grow. That is the order of things. Second answer... Why are there two lights created? The first is the great light that takes away darkness. The second light is reflections of the great light, which allows us to see when darkness returns. These lights can understood the same way as knowledge. Quote
