cardw Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I finally got to test drive the Nissan Leaf Electric car this last weekend. It really accelerates well. This was at San Jose. You might even see a famous Star Trek figure. Leaf Long and Prosper. LOL Quote Rich http://tiny.cc/CM2j8

Doug Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Hah I saw at work when these came in from japan, they were loading them up in trailers. They either had Leafs or Chevy Volts available for a test drive over near my old house 2 weeks ago, I should have gone. Quote
Amelia Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Voted for you How is the all around visibility? The windows look really small. cardw Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 Voted for you How is the all around visibility? The windows look really small. Thanks for the vote. The visibility is pretty good since the hood goes down pretty quickly. There is good head room because I'm 6' 4" The upper model which I'm getting has a back up camera. There is a slight blind spot at the right and left front window support. The Prius has the same problem due to the angle of the front wind shield. The acceleration and handling are spot on. I could use a little more leg room, but it will be a commuter for me since I generally don't drive more than 20 miles a day. Quote Rich http://tiny.cc/CM2j8
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 5, 2010 Members Posted November 5, 2010 Two thumbs up! I just voted for you too! Hope you get it!! Quote Pam      Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Members abelisle Posted November 6, 2010 Members Posted November 6, 2010 I voted for you and I also have 2 chances for a Leaf at the Nissan booth at the NYC Marathon expo where I also got Ryan Hall's autograph. They are nice looking little cars! Now I just have to line up all my outdoor electrical outlets. LOL Alex Quote We are our worst enemy - sad but true. Â http://abelisle.blogspot.com
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted November 6, 2010 Administrators Posted November 6, 2010 Really cool!! You've got my vote. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
