An early morning Sabbath reflection

Morningsong (to the beat of the Holy Spirit:

My steps in the dark cold of the morning reflected the mantra I repeated

As I listened to the music in my ears

"I lost a friend, but I found Him once again"

I listened to someone sing "We fall down, but we get up"

And knew then on this early sabbath run, I wasn't going to tire

My source of energy was the silent partner by my side

He matched me stride for stride, even knowing my thoughts

Run to His arms, they are open wide

Have you lost Him but found Him once again?
