Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 24, 2010 Members Posted November 24, 2010 This quiz consists of 25 T/F questions concerning False Teachers of biblical doctrine.. False Teachers Quiz I'm embarrassed to say it, but I missed one. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Moderators Bravus Posted November 24, 2010 Moderators Posted November 24, 2010 I got two wrong: I thought Question 20 was flawed, and answered it half right IMO. And the one about true Christians not sinning was hard to jump on, given how often it comes up here and how confused people are about it. I know what *I* believe but wasn't sure what the quiz authors might believe. Question 13 - about gain and godliness - was interesting. Quote Truth is important

Administrators Gail Posted November 25, 2010 Administrators Posted November 25, 2010 Whew! I did it! 100% as well. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
BibleTruth Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I missed #20. I felt it could go both ways because what's in our hearts is what's in our minds. (ref. Hebrews 8:10). Quote
GreatLakesGramma Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I missed the one about Christians not sinning too, because the first text that came to mind was 1 John 3:9: "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God," and judging by the verses they had been using, I thought they probably had that one in mind. Oh well. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis

SivartM Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I missed the one about tongues, because I assumed that they would think that tongues have something to do with salvation. Perhaps I have too many charismatic friends? Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus

WayneV Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I missed the one on false teachers performing miracles. I do not equate performing signs and wonders with performing miracles. To me, miracles are supernatural events while signs and wonders are a manipulation of nature (i.e. illusions, magic, prestidigitation, etc.). Agape` Quote WayneV Just remember these words of warning, for they will come to pass all too soon: If you are ever flying through the desert and your canoe breaks down, remember that it takes three pancakes to lift the doghouse, because there ain't nary a bone in ice cream!
