What image do you present?

I heard the following on the radio from Dr. Cook (some of you might know of him?):

"When God looks at you through the critical lens of Jesus Christ, what does your image look like?"

Makes one think, doesn't it? Is my image quite blurry or crystal clear? One thing for sure - none of us is perfect.

He added a little anecdote about a man who declared in a prayer meeting that he hadn't sinned in 40 years when a voice rose up from the back, "Be careful John, I'm here." It was his wife.

I have to agree. I would add that if it was God looking at us directly it wouldn't be a pretty picture no matter when he looks at us. But if looking through Jesus I believe he sees perfection. Or like LynnDel says he sees his Son.

It depends. Here is another critical lens:
