Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted December 18, 2010 Members Posted December 18, 2010 The way non-Adventists view what's written here..... oh, forget it. I wrote on my wall I wasn't going to say anything about anything anymore anyway. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Neil D Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 the point is that she is demonstrating repentance..... she started to go down on path, and decided against it, and did a 180....a very legit activity.....something we all can learn from....something that we don't HAVE to comment on.... Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
GreatLakesGramma Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I have been told that what happens here is typical of most internet forums. I mostly hang out online with non-Adventists nowadays, and the other believers among the group I chat with evenings, whether Christian or Jewish, have told me it's the same on other denominational sites, and any other site, for that matter. So I doubt that they would condemn the entire Adventist church, or all Adventist persons, just because there are disagreements here that turn nasty. Other totally non-Christian places I've seen online are often full of truly trashy talk and foul language. That isn't the case here, and I think that will be seen in our favor with non-Adventists who visit here. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
