Administrators Gail Posted December 20, 2010 Administrators Posted December 20, 2010 Friend of mine was looking for some e-books, and came across this: Then asked how appealing/appetizing this was to you :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Gail Posted December 20, 2010 Author Administrators Posted December 20, 2010 It does have a certain appeal, in that I just can't stop looking at it!! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Dottie Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Yuck! to the idea of calamari, to the eye,to the "author," et. al. Quote
Guest Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Double Yuck! And no I wouldn't read it. Nor have I read the DaVinci Code. Doesn't exactly look like non-fiction to me. And who would want to eat a squid? That's right up there with monkey brains. Quote

Ever hear of Shawn Boonstra's work in the Kalihari desert. And Popeye's comment often repeated, "I am what I am and that's all that I am". Anything to distract from the beauty of God's plans for His people. God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Moderators Nan Posted December 21, 2010 Moderators Posted December 21, 2010 It bears a certain resemblance to an avatar I have seen..... please note I only said a certain resemblance.... Quote
Guest Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I have a house full of collectable fiction. (A lot of it is collectable anyway) And it's doing nothing but collecting dust and taking up space. Since I turned back to the LORD, (He turned me back) I no longer have time to read fiction. I am way too far behind on studying and reading the truth, to be reading fiction. Quote

Amelia Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 The cover might be weird but I read the first chapter and it's rather a cute take on Agatha Christie. A murder mystery with Agatha Pixie; a cat.
