Not one of us is good enough for you to look up to, didn't Jesus tell us to look to him? I don't believe that there is anyone here that is not your friend. None of us are perfect and probably wont be any time soon. If I'm one of those that you do consider a friend, than I consider myself fortunate. And am sorry to hear you don't want to be a Christian any longer, so if you really want to leave we can't stop you, but remember that Jesus loves you and died for you and probably isn't going to give up on you any time soon. So I will continue to pray for you, if you like it or not. And if you do stop coming here, I hope to continue to see you on FB. Not sure anyone else would have thought of that one. You say you're not looking at anyone else, but it sure looks that way! You mentioned all the bickering that goes on and it bothers you! Right? Well it bothers me also but I just try not to add to it by example. Obviously there has been times that I've been upset and in frustration make a reply that I'm not happy about, but that's life. You won't find a more motley bunch of posters, but we all are in the same world and have joys and sorrows, disappointments and hurts. I have lost all my friends, every dream i had is unfullfilled, except the dream of coming to know the truth. I have a girlfriend who were raped, nearly beaten to death, forced to kill etc. But i know the feelings that can overcome you, that somehow you say to yourself God doesn t really care for you, or that he is evil, that he should give you special affection if he loves you etc etc. But don t listen to these thoughts, they are satanic. If you look at history at all the wars and bloodshed that satan has caused, then you just don t want to be on his side, even if you are going to hell. I believe i am going to hell because, well, i cheat, i lie and i do some other horrible things i can t talk about. But still i made the deal with myself that i rather die andlive a short miserable life in poverty not giving myself over to the devil, than living in riches and famous knowing i am on the side of the evil One. Understand that if God somehow didn t protect us, we were already killed somehow by demons in a car accident or in some sort of diabolical situation like that. That he protects us means he must still care for us, even though we can t see that. Don t blame the people of this board, most of them probably grew up in loving faithfull families, they just don t know any better. I hope you will make a deal with yourself, that you promise God to rather die and live miserable than to give yourself over to the wicked One. Even if you go to hell, you still have a little bit of dignity. Quote
