Woody Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 still holding Military Tribunals at Guantanamo Bay? I thought he and the Demos were opposed to Bush doing that. And speaking of Guantanamo Bay ... I thought Obama promised to close it. What happened to that promise? Instead ... he's doing just what Bush was doing. I guess being president is different than being a candidate. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Not to defend him, but didn't he say that as he looks at each situation or policy and finds that he was wrong or found that what Bush was doing there was better than what he is doing he would change his mind? I believe that he had a speech that mentioned this! I could be wrong but I don't think so. Dr. Shane Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Why is Obama still holding Military Tribunals at Guantanamo Bay? Because he is a good man and can admit it when he is wrong. Fine example for American youth. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Woody Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 I have yet to hear him say "I was wrong". If he did ... please give me a link. I would love to hear this example. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Dr. Shane Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Actions speak loader that words. It would be insane for a President to actually say he is wrong while he is in office. Bush-haters all wanted him to say he was wrong too. That is just silly. He can say he was wrong later when he writes his memoirs. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
