dougb Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 On the NAD homepage is posted this description: The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 14 million adult members worldwide which includes more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming soon again. Questions to consider: Is this really how we see ourselves and want to be seen? After all; What is the current condition of the “mainstream Protestant church”? Is this really all we are, just another one of the many daughters of Babylon? Does it bother anyone that this is what we have become? What happened to the loud cry at midnight? What happened to our unique message to ‘come out’ of the “mainstream”? What happened to a people who are supposed to be seen as peculiar? Is this another example of why Christ has spit us out of His Mouth? Quote
