I was thinking about giving powerfull presentations in prisons and afterwards hand out a book which contains all the consistent truths of this church. What is your opinion about this? I just came from fitness. I am used to feeling depressed. Just for this moment i feel "normal" but usually i am thinking about how much i d like to die. Anyway, now i am normal, i wanted to say that i love you all Redwood, Rudywoofs, Sally, Stan and all others. Sorry i am not much on this board lately. I am too busy feeling depressed:(... Quote

I think you have a great plan, ts. The idea sounds great. I'd advise working with other SDAs who have some experience in the Prison Ministry. Do you have a pastor or an elder to help you? You probably should practice presenting those sermons to a pastor or elder and get their feed-back as to both delivery and content. I ve given a lot of presentations concerning issues of international relations. I don t need a pastor or elder. I just want to do this alone together with God. Quote

Good to see you on . And glad you are feeling normal. Praise God. But many of us here love you no matter if you are feeling depressed or normal. We all go through those times at some point. nuff sed Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 You might be 100% articulate BUT you have to be familiar with and understand the inner workings of prison culture before you jump in to 'present the truth' as you understand it. "Learn from the mistakes of others, you don't have time to make them all yourself." Contact Elder Bland and the Prison Ministry Department of the church for counsel. They can give you invaluable information as to how to go about it. This is a suggestion given to you because I am involved in Law Enforcement....nuff sed Quote
