Video of an uncontacted tribe in Brazil

This reminds me of the missionaries(Baptist?), perhaps back in the early fifties, who were eventually all killed after landing their small plane on a short beach near the homes of a tribe from the deep jungle. My understanding is that the wives of the 4-5 missionaries, went back to the same people and eventually won the tribe over to Jesus over a matter of time.

The story made headlines that eventually reached "Life" Magazine and was subsequently made into a movie.

Despite the fact that there was some erroneous religious belief, either from the tribe or possibly from the Christian theology brought to the tribe, the movie was very well done and helps to adequately reveal how far efforts have progressed in bringing the Gospel to all the world, permitting Jesus to at last return for those willing to accept Him as their Savior and King.

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."Matthew 24:14 NKJV

Just recently a story reflecting God's desire to finish the work needed before He comes, in one of those areas unentered, when Adventist missionaries finally came in contact with the people of that area it was found that an unknown individual had visited some 20 tribes, all unconnected from one another, and had left with each tribe a radio like an IPod, turned to AWR (Adventist World Radio), each tribe already keeping the seventh day Sabbath as well as believing in all of the ten commandments.

"“ Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea,

The remnant will be saved.

For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness,

Because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth.”"Romans 9:27,28 NKJV

Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus! prayer

Perhaps this will serve as a reminder that there are still peoples who have not yet heard the gospel of Christ. The eminence of His 2nd coming is not yet.

We simply can't know that. Personally I choose not to believe this statement. For I believe the end is now and our Redemption draweth nigh.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

How bout this statement? "This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness unto all nations, and THEN the end will come." Or it's 1st cousin:"And the gospel must FIRST be preached to ALL the nations."

The Gospel has been preached to all the world numerous times in Earth's history. But when the time is right HE will come. We are living on borrowed time. It's not best to go forward thinking we have ANY time left. The end is NOW.

I would not agree the Gospel has covered the world, Gospel means Good News... too many have spread Bad News.

The character of God will not be vindicated till the end of Earth's history and the end of Satan. It will be the subject of all eternity. Although not debated ... it will be looked at in heaven. All of us will have the opportunity to go through the books to determine if God is just.

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Not without following His own words. How then could we trust Him?

If we rush in and try to evangelize uncontacted tribes, we'll give them pneumonia or something and kill them. How about we try to keep their homes from being destroyed by loggers? Maybe that's too worldly though.

How bout we instruct the loggers to build a new log home for them?Did you see the unsanitary dumps they were living in?Maybe we can drop Revelation Seminar brochures instead of rushing in for immediate evengelism?

I am not aware of a sanitary inspector going in. Are you sure of the unsanitary conditions first hand?

Absolutely! They haven't dusted the place for years and now it's getting so bad you can see it from a plane! Someone ought to drop them a Kirby too. That floor is filthy dirty!!Now that you mention it,I know they built those houses without a building permit. No inspector would pass a roof in that condition.

We each have no guarantee of the next heart beat. For all practical purposes I could be gone before ending the typing of this post. For me that would be how close is the coming of Christ. So if you are reading this post you can be assured Jesus has allowed more probationary for me.

"...what if the servant thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant in pieces and banish him with the unfaithful.

“And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished. But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."Luke 12:44-48 NLT

I think I have to agree with Doug. We are really not doing them any favors by not contacting them. Contact will certainly introduce diseases to them they do not have now. HOWEVER, many of them are probably dying from diseases that we have cures for. What should happen is that private property be establish for them and that property be protected from outsiders. I am against not making contact. Contact should just be limited to reduce any possible negative impact on them.

This above is a point I had never considered before. Taken to its' logical conclusion, the gospel (good news) would mean more than just reading the Word to any number of people in any certain area. Until the individuals hearing it were aware that it was good news, it would appear they wouldn't have heard the good news yet.

There would then be at least one possible logical conclusion a person could reach. Here's one from the Word.

"...and those beside the way are those hearing, then cometh the Devil, and taketh up the word from their heart, lest having believed, they may be saved."Luke 8:12 YLT

In Matthew 24, Jesus was specific in what Gospel will be preached to all the world. He said it is "The Gospel OF (about) the Kingdom of Heaven".

Has anyone here ever heard this gospel before? This is NOT the same gospel as Paul taught. Jesus made it clear that one can't even SEE [who] the KOH [is] unless he is born again by the Holy Spirit.

There is only ONE small group of Seventh Day Adventists who are teaching and preaching this gospel right now and they are in the Southeastern Conference of California. (Dan. 12:10 and Rev. 3:4)

This same gospel is what will shake the SDA church when it is given to them on or around July 2012. Hang on to your seats because it is going to be a rough ride!
