LifeHiscost Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 ______earth's societies are so chaotic and cruel is because success is seen as finding the ability to control as many people as possible, the more of those controlled, the greater is seen the success and perceived as successful, the exact opposite of Jesus' view of success. "Jesus told them, “In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called ‘friends of the people.’ But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? The one who sits at the table, of course. But not here! For I am among you as one who serves."Luke 22:25-27 NLT "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease."John 3:29,30 NKJV "“I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!"Matthew 11:11 NLT God blesses!! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
