LifeHiscost Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 And it's happening in so many places, not too see it as one outstanding evidence that Jesus' coming is far closer than many believe, is tantamount to a blind eye. There are 3000 daily being baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church, not to mention the many that are receiving Christ in the heart, of which we know little or nothing about. God blesses! Woody Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Quote: There are 3000 daily being baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church It's important to again make the distinction that joining the SDA church is done only through a vote of over 50% of those who happen to be present on a particular Sabbath morning. Baptism is "into" the body of Christ. NOT the SDA church. This is why we accept people on profession of faith if they were baptized by a non-SDA pastor and have been members of another church. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

This is why we accept people on profession of faith if they were baptized by a non-SDA pastor and have been members of another church. Which is a distinction no mortal can determine for sure except the individual involved and the Lord Himself. It is 3000 into the SDA church and God will be the one determining who are part of the body of Christ. "For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God."Romans 2:28,29 NKJV God blesses! You become an SDA through a vote of at least 50.01% of those present on a particular Sabbath morning. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. All those opposed, no. It is carried." God's vote makes the difference. God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Woody Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 But ... did you vote yea or nay ? And God has no control over who will be voted upon. And then ... only those present in bodily form can vote. Proxy voting is not allowed. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
LifeHiscost Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 And God has no control over who will be voted upon. I can understand why the discontent. "You will know that I am the Lord, O people of Israel, when I have honored my name by treating you mercifully in spite of your wickedness. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”"Ezekiel 20:44 NLT God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
