Yes indeed Gerry. Excellent. We are indeed freed from the curse of the Law.This verse is saying that the blood of Jesus removes the power of sin to condemn us. We are covered by His Robe. All because of His BLOOD. How precious. Praise His Name.

Not only does the blood of Jesus release us from the condemnation of the law, it also separates and purges the sin from us, for -

"Many who call themselves Christians are mere human moralists. They have refused the gift which alone could enable them to honor Christ by representing Him to the world. The work of the Holy Spirit is to them a strange work. They are not doers of the word. The heavenly principles that distinguish those who are one with Christ from those who are one with the world have become almost indistinguishable. The professed followers of Christ are

I have to wonder if the blood of Jesus isn't White?

Rev. 7:14 "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. "

Can there possibly be any other explanation?

White is the symbol for rightousness. Has nothing to do with the color itself.

Jesus said those who walk in the light (white) practice righteousness. Those who walk and do their deeds in the dark (black) do evil deeds for Satan.

The High Priest had to have a clean white robe on and he had to bathe in the lavor (made from the mirrors of the temple women) as being baptized, before going into the most holy place. This robe could not have one spot of dirt or he would have been killed by God.

Given that his Mum was human and his Dad was the Spirit I always imagined one strand of his DNA looking like spirit...

Maybe 2 of the 4 ligands binding the iron in his hemoglobin are the same, and I suspect that would lead to a different color, but I'd have to do some calculations to figure out what it would be...

The color of His blood was no different than ours, although He didn't inherit anything from a human father but only from his mother, so His DNA would obviously have been different.

Some people claim that Jesus didn't have any human DNA from either parent, but the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus was a descendant of Adam, Abraham, and David. David was promised that a descendent of his would sit on the throne of David forever, and in Rev. 22, Jesus testifies that He is the "root and offspring of David." If He wasn't a descendant of David, Jesus was an imposter because He wouldn't have fulfilled the prophecy concerning the Messiah.

'Straw-colored' seems to be the consensus view on the color of a bidentate rather than tetradentate iron complex. Not quite white, but closer to it than red.

Bravus, and just who said his mother was human and his father was the holy spirit? How could that be when Jesus said he was before Abraham? No, Jesus was Michael, as the 'angel of the lord' in the burning bush. He was placed into marry as a zygote and Mary was only a surrogate mother. Jesus’ real father was the Almighty God and his mother was the Holy Spirit.

Never once did Jesus call Mary “mother” but only called her “Woman”. Jesus said only those who are born into the family of God by the Holy Spirit (mother) as we see in Rev. 12:17 will be sons and daughters of God. God is the family name for God Almighty (Father) Holy Spirit (Mother) and Jesus (Son).

The color of His blood was the same as ours because nothing was mentioned of it being different when He bled.

I think that would qualify as "leukemia" or at least a sign of a severe infection.

If the balance between red and white blood cells is not maintained, the blood can't function properly as blood.

It's fun to speculate, but let us not forget that when on earth, Christ was "fully human", meaning his physical body was just like ours.

Let's not fall into the trap of assigning too much "magical" power to the physical blood itself (travelling too far down that path leads to occultic ideas and feeds into the whole "vampire" legend, in my humble opinion). It's what His death accomplished that is important.

Yeah, I was just playing around, and maybe some would suggest that this is not an appropriate subject on which to do that.

Dr Rich, the Bible also traces Jesus' human lineage back to David, so it would seem odd if his human lineage had no role in his body.

The mystery of the incarnation is something we'll be studying and trying to understand throughout eternity, so if I know anything on the subject it's that we don't have full and final answers now.

And aldona, maybe it's not surprising when we grew up singing 'There is pow'r, pow'r, wonder-working pow'r... in the blood' that some get the wrong end of the stick.
