Yesterday I received an invitation to participate in my State's pageant. The invitation states quotes: "I am writing to tell you that you are elibible to compete in this year's official state pageant."Folks: I don't have much experience in these matters. Therefore .... I seek your advice and vast knowledge to see how I can adaquately and skillfully compete and untimately win the Miss America pageant. Wish me luck .... Woody Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 Thanks for the practical advice Liz. This is going to be extremely difficult for me though. I've spent a lifetime trying to be a he man by growing lots of hair in all kinds of places. When I was young it was 'manly' to have hair everywhere. But it took me a number of years to develop my manliness. I want to hold onto that. So, I had best figure a way just to cover it up. Would makeup be of any help? I could put it on really thick. What famous person does your personality most parallel? What quality do you like most about yourself and why? What is the biggest challenge to young people today? What is the one feature you'd change about yourself and why? Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party and why? Do you think professional athletes are overpaid?" What is your definition of success? If you could change one thing about the world what would it be? What bothers you most about what is happening in your country today? If you could be on the cover of any magazine, which would you chose and why? * because I am just goofy that way.
