When Jesus comes to Earth ... will He be considered by some to be an illegal alien?

I guess Satan and his followers will attempt to make that claim.Besides, it's kinda hard to make your case effectively when you're at the same time on your knees admitting that Jesus is Lord.

If he still has olive skin he may have a problem.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

A racist statement which has no business on this forum. And void of fact.

I see that page's comment that we have racists here just may be correct.

Racism is indeed alive and well.

How sad.

Sir, you really need to calm down before you get ahead of yourself.

No, it is merely an observation of the current and past cultural scenery of the world we live in. Racism has many forms and is most often denied as taking place in Religious circles. So you would be right about it being voiced at various times in the forums but always denied. In this case, the implications of laz's statment made me smile. Why? Because what if God/Christ is not like our individual expectations?

When Jesus comes there will be no wondering, all will know who he is. Those that have been waiting will be singing for joy. Those that don't believe in him, as the Bible predicts, will be calling for the rocks to fall on them. There'll be no time to deliberate is he or is he not an alien!!!

Yes. I just didn't realize we would hear racist comments on this thread so freely articulated. Just took me for surprise.

So, if a person makes an observation of a cultural truth, that makes them a racist? If so, I reckon we all are!!

racism |ˈrāˌsizəm|

noun

the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

• prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief

prejudice |ˈprejədəs|

noun

1 preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience : English prejudice against foreigners

• dislike, hostility, or unjust behavior formed on such a basis

Now, after this little dictionary study we can see that the two nouns go together in describing a very human condition, you cant have one without the other.

Did Laz demonstrate either one in his comments? Naw...

( peace ps I'm having some fun)

I think what Woody is saying is that you make a point that predominantly white USA would consider Jesus alien purely based on color of his skin... which is in turn an assumption based on prejudice.

But, there's a certain distinction between tongue-in-cheek prejudice that simply alludes to some cultural validity. In this case, the cry "racism" is somewhat irrelevant due to the nature of the original question itself.
