Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted March 18, 2011 Members Posted March 18, 2011 . due to lack of interest in what I have posted here and elsewhere. ...Sometimes I think that some people forget that the measure by which you judge others will be the measure by which you will be judged. I can apply that to myself as well. I am not perfect, nor have I ever pretended to be. Thanks to the five members of C/A who did not de-friend me on FB. And to those who did, and to those who sent me mean and unchristian messages (yes, I still have copies of all of those), and to those who wrote about me on a hidden thread here (yes, I DID see it), I have this to say to you: There are two sides to everything. I don't post comments to gain numbers of posts. I always have a good reason to post what I do. I am sorry if you all feel that my posts are actually a method of "dumping" on you. They aren't and never have been my intent. I had been under the assumption that no one stands alone here. Whatever happened to "Remember, they have their own history to deal with. LifeHiscost Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I met a person one time who said that God was personified by the dog. He then reflected on his own pet dog to show what God was like. He pointed out that dog was God spelled backward to substantiate his conclusion. BTW, Rudy, Do you still have a pet dog? God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!

Moderators Bravus Posted March 18, 2011 Moderators Posted March 18, 2011 There are not always a lot of people here, so if you post something and then delete it in a few hours because no-one has responded, it may not have been that they didn't respond due to lack of interest but that they never saw the content of the post in the first place. Being an antipodean, this often happens to me. Quote Truth is important
LifeHiscost Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 no, I don't, LHC. I wish I did. Then someone would look at me and not see the bad and ugly in me. The way I handle the good, the bad, and the ugly, is to remember that if I let the bad and ugly change me for the worse, then I know it gives satisfaction to them and misery to me. I will admit though, to maintain that attitude, I have an awareness that Jesus always looks at us for the potential we have, to find our way to the home He's prepared for us. And the bad and the ugly won't bother us when we get there, neither in us or in them. Keep looking up. You know there will always be the bad and the ugly here in satan's domain. When we pray for them, it helps to change ourself for the better. God blesses. Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Guest truthseeker007 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Hi Rudy Woofs, good 2 see you are back. A while ago i made a topic about you, i am sorry if i have offended you with that. I just was worried about you and wanted to know what happened. I had no bad intentions whatsoever. Quote
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted March 18, 2011 Author Members Posted March 18, 2011 TS, I wasn't offended by anything you wrote. I was, in fact, grateful that someone cared enough to inquire about my posts. Thank you... Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. Dr. Shane Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 We have a Chihuahua but keep him outside because he would chew up everything in the house. I don't think he has too much loyalty to us. The kids wanted him and after a few weeks I had to start paying them to take him for a walk. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
aldona Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 There are many reasons why people may not reply to posts... Some of us read a post which is really good but can't think of anything sensible to write in reply...or think our efforts would not add anything worthwhile to the discussion...or think that others would get the idea that WE are just inflating our numbers of posts. If CA had a "like" button like Facebook does, it would make it easier for those of us who are more comfortable with silence to communicate that we appreciated a post without adding to the mountains of verbage. I always get something out of reading your posts. And I especially like the recent ones you have posted with music videos. I would not worry about what 'others' are doing or thinking ... just go about doing what you do best and thinking and expressing your insights on issues. The only thing I object to are these personal rants of yours. All your other posts are cool man. And might I add my approval at Aldona's post and ideas.
