wicklunds Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Is it just me or has our modern Christianity become so dead set against anything percieved as Jewish (ie: the Sabbath, The ten commandments, the Old Testament) just to perpetuate a brand of religion that reeks of Romanism? Are we forgetting that Jesus was, in fact, a Jew? Are we somehow failing to remember that even though we don't sacrifice animals, we still have concepts that run throughout the whole of scripture like the remnant of Israel and the Abrahamic covenant? Was it Christ's purpose to set up a religion that completely denies the former experience of the Jews? It would seem so from outward appearances wouldnt it? Give it to me straight. Quote It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy. {ST, February 19, 1894 par. 4}
Guest Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 It is the antinomian evolution of enmity that has caused this Jer 17:9 and Rom 8:7. The attitude is epidemic in churchian sons of SATAN and daughters of the DEVIL Quote
