Stan Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Thomas E. ‘Gene’ Johnson, 80, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011, at Camden Seventh Day Adventist Church, 132 Camden Street, Rockport. Pastor Cornell Preda will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Camden Seventh Day Adventist Church, P.O. Box 797, Camden, ME 04843-0797. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A full obituary will be published.
