Gordon1 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 This dream seems to mirror many of the current conditions & threats. Japan's submergence is mentioned along with the sinking of California, esp. L.A. & San Francisco. Note the men with earrings, women with v. short skirts, half-sized cars and 'flee to the mountains' (EGW). The churches packed in other lands. For decades California seemed to have this fate in my mind. But with the increased seismic activity and the Ring of Fire map before me, much comes into focus. Have others read this dream before? Is there an SDA connection? http://www.life-tabernacle.net/JoeBrandt.html __________________________ Quote

Paula Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 its very interesting... If this was really written in 1937, it is remarkable how it describes the clothes (short skirts) the guys in earrings, the stars on the walk of fame, etc... However, while it say's that he had the dream in 1937, it was only published in the 60's. So part of me has to wonder... if it was only published in the 60's, then it was probably written in the 60's, and all of a sudden the descriptions don't seem as visionary, do they? Either way, we all know that in the end times there will be earthquakes and tsunamis, and all that bad stuff... But again, very interesting. Was he an sda? Quote

We also know there will be false prophets. I would prefer to test the prophet than just blindly follow. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
