Moderators lazarus Posted April 11, 2011 Moderators Posted April 11, 2011 I have to agree with David Plouffe. I hope that Trump's numbers keep rising. http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ther...this-job_b61095 Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. Woody Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I think Trump could help restore our wealth . Then once we restore our wealth ... the international aspects will improve because we can give more of our wealth to the other nations. And after all ... that is really what they want from us. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
bonnie Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Trump understands greed not macroeconomics or international relationships. How do you define greed? Having more than you need and not sharing or helping others? Our president would seem to understand greed as well as any. He has family members living in a hut.His dear auntie that he claimed to be so fond of of was on welfare illegally. Taxpayers picked up the tab for her hip surgery if I recall. Obama doesn't have any typical living expenses. We pay for his food, housing etc.He is a millionaire. He could do fine with his pay as president and quit being so greedy. Greed is not only a sin of the ultra rich Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
Woody Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Good Post Bonnie. And just look what Obama has been doing to those of us on Social Security and Medicare. What a sham. He pays for his abuses on the backs of those on Medicare and Social Security. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

(As if the cost of living has not gone up) So you like socialism then. LOL Your GOP buddies would love to cut Medicare completely. There would be no SS raises becasue SS would be long gone under a GOP Administration. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. Those with ordinary or modest means is not left with any other choice. For those eligible for medicare, private insurance is not available. So when those services are cut we are left without. Medicare and SS should be overhauled.Long overdue. Please show the quote where GOP wants to abruptly do away with medicare and social security. These programs cannot continue but they will not abruptly disappear some morning until or unless everything collapses. SS should be privatized gradually as should medicare follow a similar path. Never would I trust the Demos. Lets forget demos & repubs, if we can't depend on SS and Medicare then what????? Pensions? That's a Union thing? Which your party wants to get rid of! IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401k plans???? I do agree that the SS should be over hauled!!!! We should be getting more to be able to live. Just because we retire doesn't mean the cost of living goes down for those who have retired. The price of food, rent, etc. doesn't go down for the elderly. Sure there are retirement communities, but the rent there is not really any lower! So what do we change?? I see our government wanting to lower what retirees get, but how about our reps and senators who don't even pay into SS, how about them being asked to not get SS when they retire????? They already get the same money they've been making when they retire!!!!! And not only that, they can retire at 55, I believe. So what's that????? And how about those companies like GE for one, that doesn't pay a shred of TAXES, while schmucks like you and I, have paid our share our whole lives!!!!!!!!!! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Woody Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Ok. I don't have any pensions to worry about so I don't mind if they are a target pk. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Dr. Shane Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I hope that Trump's numbers keep rising. I hope that is TIC. Obama is far from being a shoe-in in 2012. We really want the best qualified person to the nomination of both parties, that way, whichever one wins it won't be such a big deal. Would you really want Trump to be the people's alternative to Obama? Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
