wicklunds Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Greg, Do you ever watch Survivor? I think the commentary on it in this article is right on. The donation is incredible. What a blessing from above. It is amazing how much money we dump into godless tv projects like survivor while there is clearly a disintegrating and hungry world happening all round us. We should be more proactive in doing good things that trump evil and money serving projects that are being mass-produced right now. All the reality tv is doing is feeding a need for sensational and backbiting entertainment. You would think people get enough of this in their own lives to shun it in the form of entertainment but apparently they thrive on human misery and like the company the reality shows provide. Maybe someday a survivor participant will be converted on a show, but I wont hold my breath. wicklunds Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Yes, I am an ex-tv watcher. I took it out several months back. Praise the Lord for freedom from TV. Quote It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy. {ST, February 19, 1894 par. 4}
Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted March 28, 2005 Moderators Posted March 28, 2005 I don't watch those "reality" shows either. But I have to say it was exciting to read about this providential donation from Survivor. Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
