Stan Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 The concept of teens who take nude photos of themselves and send them to their boyfriend/girlfriend can be listed as a sex offender really cheapens what a sex offender is. Or has that been over turned? Dr. Shane Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Was that a ruling? I would agree that they shouldn't be listed as sex-offenders. That Miss. California did that, for those that recall. I think this recent conviction of a sports start that had sex with an underage prostitute and had to registrar as a sex offender is bad too. She lied and said she was of age. Was he suppose to ask her for ID? And he didn't even pick her up off the street. He called a service and they sent her to his hotel room. While I agree that prostitution is wrong, I don't see any predatory behavior there. And I am a sexual assault survivor. Labeling sexual predators and making that information public is a very good idea but I think we need to make sure the person is actually a predator. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
