Woody Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 be considered 'worship' towards God? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted April 18, 2011 Administrators Posted April 18, 2011 If you are doing it out of love for your neighbour, then that is keeping the commandment. Is that worship? If you do it to the least of these my brethren... Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Not sure worship was meant to be sitting in church listening to a sermon per say. Woody Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Great Comments so far ... Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted April 18, 2011 Administrators Posted April 18, 2011 Okay, how about if you don't even like the neighbour and you help him anyway? Like, it's a big sacrifice for you to help your neighbour- can you offer that on the altar to God and go out because you know it's His will that you love the scoundrel Can you count that as worship? One thing I have found, that if I do something that I have been putting off but really shouldn't, if I die to my selfish wish and bite the bullet and do it I actually feel good afterward. The principle of giving is a blessing in itself. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 Yes. I think we can expand our concept of worship to include all kinds of service for others. Well ... not if we are paid for it. (excepting for pastors) I dunno. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
