Administrators Gail Posted April 25, 2011 Administrators Posted April 25, 2011 That is interesting! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Moderators Bravus Posted April 25, 2011 Moderators Posted April 25, 2011 Definitely interesting and fun - though not breaking a lot of stereotypes, I don't think. I'm a little insulted that the only motorycle choice available was between a Harley and a Vespa... Quote Truth is important
cricket Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 And what of those of us who freely switch between the two--according to whichever computer is available at the moment? Quote
Moderators Bravus Posted April 25, 2011 Moderators Posted April 25, 2011 Yeah, they included 'Neither' but not 'both'! I think I've said before that I'm 'polyplatformally perverse': Mac and Windows, sure, but also Linux, BSD, played with BeOS back in the day, and before that Amstrad... Quote Truth is important
ClubV12 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Snicker,,,, eh eh,,,, it's logical Mac folks would opt for a Vespa over a Harley. All though, I happen to know a guy who rides a Harley and uses a Mac. Both of which he is just about fed up with. The one leaks (oil, gas, you name it) and the other has trouble sending and receiving email. So, he uses the PC at work to check his mail and stay in touch with his Harley mechanic. Me? Home built PC and a Honda motorcycle. :) Quote

Personally don't know of any Harley guys with leaking problems and most of them would never think of leaving there Harley parked out in the street. Most keep them in there homes, and when I say home I don't mean the garage. :) Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. D.A. Wintsmith Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I think the differences in user profiles could have something to do with the careers of the responders. The PC has tended to be a business world platform, while the MAC has lent itself toward graphics. If you work in a graphics/creative field, you are more likely to have greater familiarity with a Mac, while those of us in cubicle land are more likely to bond with a PC. Quote
