Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted April 29, 2011 Members Posted April 29, 2011 I think we all do....even in church. Maybe even especially in church... Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

When I say Church I'm saying all churches not just the SDA church. Having said that, I'd say its a lot less than we really think. Alex Excellent thought ab, but I'd say the church is for sinners. So I'd add that I'm glad to be wrapped in that cloak. Moderators Bravus Posted April 29, 2011 Moderators Posted April 29, 2011 I'm not so sure 'masks' is the best way to think about it. (Heh, yes, contrary to the last!) That approach suggests there's an essential 'self' that is hidden by various masks. (I may have mentioned before that I had a bit of an identity crisis as a teenager wondering which was my 'real' self...) I think it's more that we have slightly different 'selves' in different contexts. They're all real, though. I'm a different person at work, in church, at home... and here. Quote Truth is important
