cricket Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I didn't really want to start a new thread on the tornadoes--but I did want to respond to James' post in this subforum: I'm so glad to hear that you, personally, are okay in Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas. The tornado system that ripped through here in Missouri last week left terrible damage, but spared life (a miracle, what with the damage, that no one's life was taken). I hope our readers in Alabama are doing okay. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, too! The Piedmont SDA church in Alabamba: Quote
Dottie Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I've been reading and looking at photos from the air of the damage in the Collegedale, TN, area. Many homes were flattened, but one had the tornado go all the way around it, but not damaging the house at all. An Adventist family lives there, with three babies (small children?). The first thought that went through my mind is that God has a special task for that family. The photos were posted on Facebook, but I don't know who took them. There is more info on Adventist News.
