The typical dithering as to what really happened leads and fuels speculation as to what happened. With the years of planning and the monitoring one would think the "worlds smartest man to occupy the whitehouse" would have a better grasp. Had this beeen Bush the roar would have been deafening. Isn't this the same group that Holder and Obama wanted to prosecute? Imagine the outcry if Bush had ordered the shooting of an unarmed man,not Miranda warning and no capture alive,but to set out to kill. He should allow a select number of world leaders to see the pictures, and also a select number of both Republicans and Democrats, including Donald Trump, Ron Paul, Palin, and McCain. These would then be able to give interviews and talk about what they saw. They would also sign a document stating their belief that the pictures they saw they saw of a dead bin Laden were genuine. I would love to see Palin, Gingrich et al question whether OBL is really dead. Then as the election really heats up release the pics. It's the birther foolishness all over again. Dr. Shane Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I think the birther controversy ended up hurting Obama in the end. A lot of people from across the political spectrum were asking for the long-form copy to be release. Some names include Lou Dobbs, Chris Matthews and Donald Trump. When he finally released it, a lot of people were left questioning, why did it take him so long? The fact that Donald Trump is the one that finally forced him to release it says a lot about Trump. And amazingly they didn't recognize that the released long form only confirmed how stupid they had been all along and how silly the birther lunacy had been. Most are not calling for the photos release because of a belief that Osama is still alive.This super sensitivity to Islam has never been shown to anyone else. The dems were absolutely determined to put our troops at risk with Abu Graib photo's.Our dead troops being dragged thru the streets,the holocoust etc. Holder is still investigating and wanting to bring to trial some of the very ones used to get Osama.When they use them then Obama becomes a hero. Many understand the ruthlessness of this president and believe he will lie.He condemned Bush at every opportunity for his policies,yet he has retained and in some cases added to. If Obama were a defendent in any court case and told a variety of stories,changing them as he went,he would never be acquitted or found innocent.But the american people are supposed to believe a man with ever changing accounts. One consistent story would have gone a long way in this.Obama does not know or does not want the true story of this raid out there so we float many and see which will take. I am sure the decision to order the death of Osama was a nail biter for him. He really had no choice.Too many knew this and it would have eventually come out had he backed off ending any chance of re-election. What happened to the demand for the Miranda warning and trials in New York? Shooting an unarmed man seems to be opposed to that train of thought But it does keep the topic of the economy and the rest of the mess he has made off the table.
