Administrators Gail Posted May 13, 2011 Administrators Posted May 13, 2011 What part of your faith do you love to share with others? Prophecy? Wisdom? The plan of salvation? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Excellent question Gail. Personally - I have no use for prophecy. And I have no wisdom. But I do love telling others about the Great Controversy and God's plan to save us from the foundations of the Earth. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
miz3 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Gail, I love sharing with others how great God is and how great the Kingdom of Heaven is. Thanks for letting me share this. Quote
Moderators Kevin H Posted May 14, 2011 Moderators Posted May 14, 2011 I love sharing the beauty of Jesus, the Great Controversy i.e. the aspects of the trinity, That God's law is Self Sacrificing love (the rest are just breakdowns and applications) the 3 deceptions of Satan and how they attack each aspect of the trinity and how God deals with them. The 2 aspects in oursleves, (our sinfulnature; the disposition to think we are for ourselves by making less of the outside world and deepest desire to love the world as Jesus has loved it, to be like and with him) and looking at more breakdowns of these, such as giving up and the 7 habits of miserable people (complaining, criticizing, blaming, nagging, threatening, punishing, rewarding to control) that Jesus wants to free us from so that we can have happier relationships, that will make us useful in this world and fulfill God's place for us based on the uniqueness that Jesus has made in us, and also the truth about hell, how it is not God giving some divine spanking of roasting and tosting folks in a barbecue at the end, but that God's love is always for us. That God treats us all the same, however, when the prophets saw God in vision, the glory, brightness, love made them feel like they were being born alive. However as time went by they found that they not only were able to survive in that fire but came to thrive in that fire and long to return to being in it. This is both heaven and hell. Those who's characteristics tend to yeild to the Holy Spirit's pleading will find it heaven to be in the eternal fire of God's visible pressence. However just as when Jesus was on earth some longed to be with him, others longed to be away from him, and so the same at the end. With our two attitdes, to be like and with Jesus is still their deepest desire; hell is being in a position of wanting to come to Jesus but having charistically developed the habit to refuse to. While they may not realize it, saved or lost, God knows where we will be the happiest, and which ever we end up, we are in the best place possible: Safe in the arms of Jesus. I like talking about the 7 periods of anti-christ: Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greece, Rome, the Holy Roman Empire (with Papal Supremacy); the deadly wound (a short period of freedom, no great world empire); the healing of the world by the world uniting under economic cooperation where the whole world is controlled and affects our ability to buy and sell, but that the next kingdome is the rock not cut out with man's hands, the second coming!!!! The victory over death and reunion with our loved ones!!!! Quote
