Parade Orange Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 duck and cover if miit romney runs! that peice of dust looks down on people! u can see it! watch him when he debates that guy reeks of pride Quote All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
Dr. Shane Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I think most, if not all, people that run for President have an over-inflated view of themselves. However some to come off has being humble, like G.W. Bush did. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Parade Orange Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Shane! yes i agree u must have an ego to run for the most important position in th world but there is a difference in thinking u can do the job or should at least be considered for the job and looking down on others as inferior to themselves as human beings he looks down on people! just watch him interact with people who disagree with him whether press or politician its a trip im scared most americans will let him win the nomination cause they dont watch these people or have discernment look at the people who have become presidents in the past! Obama is a prome example. "I don't mind if the republicans come along for the ride as long as they sit in the back of the bus and shutup" "You know those guys when they get scared, they cling to their bible and guns" Maybe Mitt Romney is taking a page from the playbook of the leader of this country thinking that is acceptable behaviour Many other examples of our "humble, civil" president" are available" Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
Dr. Shane Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I honestly haven't seen too much of Romney but I will watch for that. If it comes down to a contest between him and Obama, we certainly can't hold that condescending attitude against him as Obama seems to be cut from the same cloth. I think I would rather see Romney with the nomination than Trump. If the economy comes back, Obama will be hard to beat. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Members phkrause Posted May 14, 2011 Author Members Posted May 14, 2011 I've seen enough of him. But if I had to pick a lesser of two evils, between him and Trump, I'd pick Trump!!!
