Ron Lambert Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 How big was the research grant for this? (Reminds me of the 18-month government research project I read about some 30 years ago, where at the end of the study the researchers concluded that you could make soymilk by simply boiling the soybeans.) jasd Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Quick Reply: Quote: Turns out they really can kill people. So do spoons and mosquitoes; rats and other vermin; cars, planes, trains; Gd, also. Seems though, that history shows one’s own govt excels… whereas, Gd and guns, also save(s) people. Defensive Gun Use: “…the Department of Justice sponsored a survey in 1994 titled, Guns in America: National Survey on Private Ownership and Use of Firearms. … this survey estimated 1.5 million DGU's annually.” [ed.] The only statistic I’d be concerned with presently, would be; might a member of my family, or a friend die because I was/am too prejudiced against a simple tool to have denied myself that tool, as the means of his/her defense, ...should occasion arise. Were I so, the Bible excoriates me --as infidel, unBiblically prejudicial and unwilling to provide for my family’s safety. Further, I would have rejected the direct imperative of Jesus’ to “buy a sword”. An imperative of Gd’s is a commandment of Gd. Yes, commandment. Quote
