Moderators Gerr Posted May 18, 2011 Moderators Posted May 18, 2011 Hey, Shane, thanks for that! I was not even aware that that is what my search engines are doing. I have noticed before, however, how different are the search results that the different search engines come up with. Yeah, that is terrible if they are filtering what what I should hear or see. Quote
Overaged Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Actually; I thought it was pretty cool. I have a Gmail account, and I often get emails about drywall taping requests, and lo and behold, all the links in the margin are about drywall stuff! Works for me, and as long as you are not doing anything you wouldn't want others to see, whats the problem? Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." (Job 37:21)"I cannot know why suddenly the stormshould rage so fiercely round me in it's wrathBut this I know: God watches all my pathAnd I can trust""God helps us to draw strength from the storm" - OveragedFaith makes things possible; it does not make them easy, Steps To Christ
Dr. Shane Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 I think the problem is pretty much outlined in the presentation. They guy that is really into politics, only gets fed politics and not anything about the arts, humor, religion, sports or other subjects. Specifically on Facebook, I won't see my friend's updates that are into things that I am not into (i.e. arts, sports, etc.) Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
