Dr. Shane Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Let's have a nice thread. In this thread please post a positive comment about the last member to have posted in the thread. Since I am starting the thread I will start with a positive comment about the member with the most posts, dgrimm60. dgrimm60, I appreciate how you read people's posts and make comments. I think that makes people feel more relevant. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Moderators Bravus Posted May 25, 2011 Moderators Posted May 25, 2011 I really appreciate Shane's fair-mindedness and good sense: he knows what he believes and stands by that strongly but also always listens and works with the ideas of others. Quote Truth is important
Planey Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 What can I say about Bravus Davus? Well of course he is an Aussie, a teacher, a scientist (almost a mathematician (hehe)), a father: all of these are huge positives! In addition he is unfailingly honest but diplomatic to go with it, he is a past master at pouring oil on troubled waters. I am pleased to call him a friend, although being a friend of mine may not be regarded by other posters as being necessarily positive. hmmm... Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted May 25, 2011 Members Posted May 25, 2011 Ahhh, Graeme.. my friend. I love your posts...I think they're always honest and heartfelt, and what you write resonates with me.. Thank you for being you! (I hesitated to post in this thread...I'm not sure someone will find something positive about me...I don't want to shut down the thread..) Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

You tell it like it is and don't apologize about it. Quote

Administrators Gail Posted May 26, 2011 Administrators Posted May 26, 2011 The problem with this is that not everybody will be able to remember all that they should and some will get left out and might never know how much they are appreciated! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Moderators Bravus Posted May 26, 2011 Moderators Posted May 26, 2011 True, but it's kind of cleverly designed (except you broke it a bit ) - we don't have to remember everyone, we just have to be able to say something nice about the person who posted immediately before us. Might sound harsh, but if people don't pop in here and post something nice about someone else first, they can't really complain about being forgotten... Quote Truth is important
Administrators Gail Posted May 26, 2011 Administrators Posted May 26, 2011 Well, duh- that was a blonde moment for me! I didn't even see that! Well, then, carry on with the game! Sorry about that!
