Members phkrause Posted June 23, 2011 Author Members Posted June 23, 2011 He does bring some interesting things to the table. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators lazarus Posted June 23, 2011 Moderators Posted June 23, 2011 So interesting that he doesn't stand a chance, like Ron Paul Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. Einstein
Members phkrause Posted June 23, 2011 Author Members Posted June 23, 2011 Why do you think that's the case Lazarus? I think he has a little more honesty in him than most of the rest. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators lazarus Posted June 23, 2011 Moderators Posted June 23, 2011 I think Herman Cain will get to trouble becasue it seems he hasn't really thought through the issues that matter in the political world. Sad to say honesty is not enough. If fact it can be a curse. He ran into trouble on Israel, Muslims in government and the number of pages in legislation. He knows how to make a good speech and get the crowd exited but running for office take more than that. I think he's a quick learner so he'll get better. What fires up the base of the republican party often turns off most American voters. That is the same for the other side too! Obviously, he is very gifted and accomplished but I don't think he has the connections or the experience to get the nomination. We have Obama's experience on the number one issue in this country. He blames ATM machines in part for the bad economy. Cain at least has a pretty good idea of how to run a business. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
