People will pay big bucks to go a game and lament that their team lost when it is over, but they won't read a book that they suspect disagrees with their pet views. Restin Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Talkin about me? I wanted to help my church by designing, writing, making, booklets and flyers for mass mailing. The flyers, etc, were fine; but after the creative work was done, found myself in the robotic role of standing in front of the copy machine for hours a week just rolling out thousands of copies. It turned to just factory work. After several years, it began to burn me out so totally I couldn't endure doing another copy! Guilt for being a quitter, yes; but a lesson learned, too. Quote

But I think more to Stan's original point, for every person actually lifting a finger, there are 1000 wagging a finger.
