Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted June 28, 2011 Members Posted June 28, 2011 commentary on religious TV shows: Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Moderators Nan Posted June 28, 2011 Moderators Posted June 28, 2011 The commentary originates here and I have not seen it...thanks Pam..on a more sober note, how seriously do such people (the televangelists) - expect to be taken? Quote
Members phkrause Posted June 28, 2011 Members Posted June 28, 2011 yes rudywoofs you certainly do have a warped sense of humor. There are some religious jokes that are really sac-religious, those I really don't like or care for. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2

There are some religious jokes that are really sac-religious, those I really don't like or care for. However it does seem to fit somewhat into one point made by God through one of His Apostles. "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."1 Cor 1:21 KJV God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!

Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
Aliensanctuary Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Too funny. Someday the garbage of man-made religions will be swept away, leaving only the truth that the Kingdom of God is not a religion. Quote The Parable of the Lamb and the Pigpen https://www.createspace.com/3401451
