Children from the streets of Bucharest received help during the winter

For the second consecutive time, our association has organized help for homeless children and people who received food and a warm meal at the end of the year. Even though it was a spontaneous event, it is an unique opportunity we have to talk to the children and the homeless people about God’s love and His care for us even in the difficult situations they are in. Most of these children ran away from home because the parents were aggressive, drunks or come from broken homes. Once they reach the streets, they live in miserable living conditions, in sewers, eating from trash and begging for money. Unschooled, without education, without guidance and the love of their parents, they fall easily into addictions and immorality. We will never be able to understand what it means to live on the streets. But they adapt to living on the streets, and this becomes part of them, and a normal life becomes weird to them. Our volunteers prepared packages and a warm meal for the 140 children and homeless people from the Gara de Nord and Dristor areas of Bucharest. Also, 45 children from the Pinocchio orphanage and 35 from the Pantelimon shelter were also helped. We wish to thank God and thank all those who under the influence of the Holy Spirit offered financial assistance for this project. We also thank those volunteers who gave from their time to organize this event. May the Lord reward all for their efforts.
