Restin Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Yes, I would say i have an original thought. Based on Ephesians 6. Imagine a warrior, or warrior woman, putting on the armor of God: the helmet, greaves, sword, shield, etc. to fight the dragon that symbolizes the powers of evil in high places, and low places too. So, I spent about a year drawing a pictorial allegory of a girl who runs away from her abusive relatives to live in a parallel world of survival away from people's world. She has a Chinese lion and fox bat for helpers in her alienation, called the Great Satre Wilderness. (remember Sartre of the existentialist philosophy in the 70's?) But she, Tirza Lang, eventually joins up with some of God's Orionway warriors in training to battle dragons in the area. Some ride horses, some ride tigers, and some are on rhinodogs and jethorses. The fierce dragons are rivalry dragons, lust dragons, pride dragons, etc. In this training, the heroine, Tirza, finds her faults and her position in the tough training outposts run by Jesus's generals here on Earth. The book is a large, coffee-table edition in full color, 11x 17 pages. I also make an 8.5 X 11 edition. It's intended to be a consciously Christian form of the familiar StarWars style of sci-fi. I would love to get it published some day by a large publisher instead of just a few at a time on my own. Quote
