Tammy Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I realize that the last thread on Pipim was deleted and my understanding was because some people were posting some pretty far out posts. I hope this one is not deleted. Some of you have been following the discussion on Spectrum...but for those of you who have not, a poster has shed some light on the issue... Quote: It should be known that Pipim did not confess but saw that he was going to be fired and therefore should resign. The truth is out there. If was not consensual. This took place in South African and the poor young woman was even chastised until she provided email about his promises to help her if it was not reported. So tell us if this was a confession. From the division president, union to the conference offices they all know about it. Check from Botswana area It is not published anywhere but all his close associates know about it. The South African Division is aware of it, the union and the conference in which this took place - It is "silent talk" but the facts are there. It sounds as if it is a "temptation of the moment" but those close to him will tell you that this is not new. It is because the "brick" was fallen on him therefore he had to resign before being fired. People in my country know about the whole story and have knowledge of other other incidents. We wish him the best and may the Lord help him as we all need His grace. But it must be clear that this guy may not have resigned because he is remorseful but rather he was going to be exposed. Sorry for the poor young woman who went for counseling on that particular day and found herself in trouble. I think you are misunderstanding the whole thing. The division, union and conference did not cover it. They were in the process of bringing it up as it happened and then Pipim resigned himself before being fired. They did not cover it. Initially they did not believe the poor young woman because Pipim is influential and they needed evidence. So the young woman then produced email communication between her and Pipim indicating how he had promised to help her if she did not report it. After the emails then the proceeded to take action. Upon hearing what was coming Pipim resigned so don't blame the folks in Lesotho or Botswana. Also I am not from South Africa. I am from Ghana. What I meant was that my folks in Ghana know all the story and even more details, I didn't mean South Africa. This is true and sueing is out of the question. What we all need to do is to pray for our brother for forgiveness, restoration of the poor young woman and for both to rise again. No one should be happy about another's fall. http://spectrummagazine.org/blog/2011/05/31/samuel-koranteng%E2%80%93pipim-cancels-speaking-appointments-and-resigns-michigan-conference?page=2 Quote When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own. {COL 69} The Narrow Way Ministires 5464 State Road Kingsville, OH 44048 choose_the_narrow_way@yahoo.com

Tammy Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 He is talking about continuing his Ministry, after he is rebaptized. I think he should answer a simple question - "Is this the first time you have had a moral fall?" Not asking for any details, just a simple Yes or No answer.... CoAspen Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Is this the first time you have sinned? What does it matter? If God still calls him to ministry, why would we care? I leave it in Gods hands. Quote

Overaged Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Is this the first time you have sinned? What does it matter? If God still calls him to ministry, why would we care? I leave it in Gods hands. For the most part; I am with you on the things you have expressed about this case; but I think we all have to admit that if this man does resurrect his "ministry," and he started talking to us about "morality;" and other related things, it would be hard to listen to him without thinking about all this. I do believe that God has a plan for Samuel's life; but not the same ministry as before. Ministry, yes. But not the same one. Things would have to change if he gets re-baptized and wants to work for the Lord in ministry again. Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." Moderators Bravus Posted August 1, 2011 Moderators Posted August 1, 2011 My list of moral failures is long... but not of the kind that causes lifelong harm to others. The issue here, remember, is not one of salvation - there is redemption for all who ask - but of harm minimisation in a temporal sense: something the church has been awful at. The issue here, remember, is not one of salvation - there is redemption for all who ask - but of harm minimisation in a temporal sense: something the church has been awful at. My list is longer than your's....and most of it can be counted as "harmful." Does that make one of us "better?" I believe it is a stretch at best to say it is something "the church is awful at" and could be more accurately stated as "people in general are awful at." It is possible that I don't know enough about you Bravus, and that your list is longer than mine...LOL Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." Nic Samojluk Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Is this the first time you have sinned? What does it matter? If God still calls him to ministry, why would we care? I leave it in Gods hands. God did allow King David to remain on the throne. Does this mean that the natural consequences of his sin were miraculously avoided? Here is what I posted on the Spectrum blog this morning: How do you decide between jail time and freedom? Should we emphasize on justice or mercy? It is true that King David was allowed to remain on the throne, but the Lord predicted that, as a result of his sin, the sword would never depart from his family. His adultery and murder generated more adultery and murder. His daughter was violated and his own son attempted to dethrone and murder him. He had to flee from his own flesh and blood. His leadership was never the same afterwards. I do have one of Pipim’s books, but I will probably never buy anything he has written again. This reminds me of Jimmy Swaggart. I did on one occasion send a donation to his ministry before his moral fall. I did receive from him a letter after he repented asking me to donate to his cause again, which I ignored. He followed this up with another letter arguing that my failure to send more money to him was evidence that I did not have the forgiving spirit which the Bible expected from true Christians. I do believe in forgiveness, but sin has its natural consequences which even King David could not avoid in spite of God’s forgiveness. Quote
