Overaged Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 How should we praise the Lord, and be "thankful in all things?" Should I praise God for fires and floods; because every time there is one in my area, I make money doing drywall and other repairs. ClubV12 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Oh,,, I know that one Overaged! I have mixed feelings about various disasters that have occured in my communties from which I reaped "reward". It's a strange feeling, I'm still not sure how one should approach it. Generally speaking, it's one of those things you don't talk much about. I just quietly stuff the check deep in my pocket and try not to let anyone see the smile as I walk off the job site.... It's just life, someone has to rebuild. The key is: Do a fair job at a fair price and not take advantage of people. The balance is, in most cases, ya can't work for free either! Quote
