Who Are the Transgressors?

These transgressors are those of the “falling away” at the time of the end of this present age and this is not a reference to professing apostate Christianity; these are the Muslims of the Middle East who will follow and worship Satan’s beast in the little horn of Daniel’s visions

Daniel

8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors [Daniel 2:40-43] are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

2Thessalonians

2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Revelation

13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Transgressors are those that are Lawless; that no longer believe there is need for obedience to the Law/Covenant/10 Commandments of God. Simple.

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.   (11) And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.   (12) And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. Matt. 24:10-12.

He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.   (10) Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. Dan. 12:9-10.

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.   (2) Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. Matt. 25:1-2.

The Wise are Lawful, the Foolish/wicked are Lawless. Simple
